Here is the fourth in a local series for all the nearby cachers chomping at the bit for some close-to-home hides. Of course everyone is welcome (and we are thrilled when you come here!). There are good people here, and this series is dedicated to YOU. Let's Stick Together. (Thank you Wal-Mart for P&W's latest version of Maine's Official Sticky Material).

Welcome to Greenwood Mountain. This spot used to be considered so isolated that the State of Maine put a tuberculosis sanitorium up here. It is long gone, though if you travel up this road a bit you'll see its former entrance. The cache owners look out their kitchen window at this hill. During foggy periods the view is eerie, and in the fall there is no prettier view anywhere. The object holding the cache container is obvious. Please tread lightly up here, and replace the container as found. Enjoy our little Hebron.
