Le premier engagement d'envergure des troupes australiennes eut lieu à Pozières en 1916

Cet abri bétonné a probablement servi de Q.G pour les bataillons australiens.

This series will take you in the footsteps of Australian soldiers during the Battle of Pozières which, during the Battle of the Somme lasted two weeks , from July 23 to August 7, 1916 .

The first engagemnt from size of Australian troops took place in Pozières in 1916
