Geocache Description:

On Sunday 3rd May Colchester played Preston, in a match which was to decide the future of these teams. Colchester needed a win and some luck if they were to stay in the league. Preston required a win to stay in the automatic promotion positions. The match was tense and Chris Porter, who had earlier missed a penalty, set up George Moncur from 12-yards. This goal on 82' minutes, lead to a nervy end. This goal clinched Colchester's survival, and stopped Preston's 18-match unbeaten streak.
