Placed at one end of a short path that follows the old branch line that used to run up to New Belmont Ironstone Mine in Guisborough. If you walk far enough, and along Sparrow Lane there is a concrete wall. This wall formed part of the tipping gantry when loading the railway trucks. More information and photographs can be found at: http://www.hidden-teesside.co.uk/2009/04/20/belmont-ironstone-mine-2/
A camoflaged container placed at the start of this path. As you walk along there are lovely views of the hills and fields at the bottom of Guisborough woods, and particularly Highcliff Nab. Please replace carefully.
