Whitman Park is a Town of Huntington park with two tennis courts, a baseball diamond, fields, a playground and ample parking. It is located between Elderwood Lane and New York Avenue. Parking access is off of New York Avenue entrance, across from South Huntington Jewish Center. Also you can park behind the Melville Mall with gate access.
