Geocache Description:

Conant Park is a little park on the Melrose/Stoneham line that most people are unaware of unless they have kids that play little league baseball. However, Spot Pond Brook runs adjacent to Conant Park so it contains one of the last few areas of wetlands in the area, and for that the park is important as it still hosts associated wildlife and birds.

If you park at the entrance of Conant Park on Conant Road/Baxter Street, it will be your easiest access point for the geocache. The park is fairly empty except during little league games so you should be able to get to the cache without being spotted by muggles. During ball games, the cache is a short distance from the playing fields so I thought it may be a fun activity for the little brothers and sisters that are waiting around while their famly is watching a ball game! I made it pretty easy to find with the hopes that families will look for it.

The cache is a small green box that is big enough for a log and a couple of tradeables.

The area where the cache is located can also be an occasional hangout spot for teenagers so there may be bottles around, especially during the summer. I have tried to clean out the bottles as I have traveled back and forth for the cache but beware if there is any glass.

There does seem to be a bit of signal bounce in the area, so I made the hint a little stronger in case anyone has any difficulties finding the cache!
