This is the only known "public road" joining the Sofala Road and the Limekilns Road.
There is another public road, however it hasn't been used for so long it now no longer looks like a road!
This area is the original fine wool producing area for Bathurst and surrounds. It was along this road that the first angora goats to the area were established.
