A wee bit awkward to get in close to find. May need to crawl but out in the open. 200 yards from the beautiful New England Bay beach sands. Hard to find a nicer location with views north around the sandy coastline to Glenluce. Views out to the Scare Rocks (Visible at both High and Low tides) and accross Luce Bay to Portwilliam.
Cache is lightly covered and hidden from view until very close. Blue top visible when within reach. Please leave the blue top uncovered as is hard enough to see. You will have to get down onto all fours to find this specimen tube. Cover partially for the next geocacher. Will probably be other non geocachers about as this is a popular stop during the summer months but used rarely during the winter months - so be prepared for some quizical looks as you hunt down the Thorny Hee Haw.
