The route mostly follows well-marked footpaths but there is a stretch of road walking at the end.
Some of the paths do become seriously muddy in wet weather, wellies might be a good choice after any period of heavy rain!
Suggested parking is along the road at the end of Miles lane. Starting here gives you the opportunity for refreshments approximately two thirds of the way round at the pub in Tandridge.
You can also start the circuit from Tandridge, parking available along the main road.
The route contains a mixture of traditional and multi caches. Don't try to do the route in reverse as you'll have to backtrack for some of the multi's.
Other caches around the series are :-
GC1JXMP The Ridge
GC4E6XT Surrey Oak (Extreme!)
GC56WW7 G2T-7 Iron gate
None of the caches contain pens, please bring your own writing implement.
At the published co-ordinates you will find a postbox with the code
'RHa bcdD'. - I'm told the info is missing, it was "RH8 266D"
Then go to the dilapidated structure at the next stage and count the
number of rusty verticals = e.
