This cache is close to Walney Airport that is owned by BAE Systems but this has not always been the case. During the early 20th century it was the airfield for Airships that were built by Vickers, then once World War 2 was on the horizon it became an airfield for RAF.

The cache is a small camouflaged clip box containing log book and pen.
