Geocache Description:

There once was a sweet dwarf hamster named Brownie who lived on this circle.  He passed away far too young, so we wanted to memorialize him through a geocache.   This is a perfect geocache for those new to geocaching, and ideal for young children.  Have fun, be safe, and love a hamster.

This cache is nestled in a residential neighborhood in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, a community founded by Irish farmers in the 1800's.  The homes on this street were built in 1987.  The cache is hidden in a place where my children climbed a colorful and fragrant crabapple tree when they were younger, and a place where we hold our annual lemonade stand to benefit the Dane County Humane Society. Look high, look low, you'll find the cache hopefully before the snow! Be sure to grab a toy from the cache as a souvenir! And, once again, love a hamster. While you're at it, love a dachshund, too!
