The 10th-century Grade I listed church of St Margaret at High Halstow was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, and was built on the highest point of the Hoo Peninsula, overlooking the rivers of the Thames and Medway.
I used to cycle UP the hill here regularly when I was a lot fitter. Nowdays I’m not sure if I can push my bike up !!
A lovely church here in a friendly village.
Firstly walk towards the front door of the church at N 51° 26.903 E 000° 33.593 How many lozenge shaped gravestones are there? = A Then at N 51° 26.914 E 000° 33.562 find the gravestone with only one word and answer the following How many letters in the word ? =B How many times does the letter L appear? =C Now you have found the information required do the following maths:-
2A. (B+C) (B-A-1) (C-2)
3(C+1). A (B-A+1) (C+2)
