Sylvester's Shelter Traditional Cache

Gulfdassie: Due to the ongoing construction work, Sylvester has decided to take a break. He plans to return shortly in a quieter location away from the construction and even closer to his Shelter. A new cache listing will be done once he has finished relocation. For now, he is enjoying a nice bath and a bit of a rest.

Geocache Description:

Another cache along the E88 between Sharjah and Al Dhaid.

We have been looking to place a cache here for some time now. The shelter nearby is run by the Municipality to try and deal with the scores of abandoned pets as well as to reduce the stray population of cats and dogs through a "Trap, Neuter and Return" programme.

It is another noteworthy place along the E88 and also has a nice dog walking area with grass, picnic tables and a playground. Opening times vary on the time of year.
