The is the first cache located on the carribean island of St. Barts. St. Barts was owned by France and Sweden at various times in it's history. It has a unique climate which allows cactus to flourish alongside palm trees and beautiful flowers year round. Much of the waters around St. Barts are a protected marine reserve.
The cache was placed on a strategic hill just outside the beautiful town of Gustavia overlooking the harbor and across the bay from Ft. Oscar. From the hill one can actually see the nearby islands of St. Kitts, Nevis, Eustasius, St. Martin, and Saba island.
It has a traveler/sailing theme and is located in a dark green, waterproof cannister. The contents of the cache include necessary travel accruterments like Immodium AD, Tylenol, Dramine, motion sickness patches, and a few other traveling necessities.
