Joe Hill 1915 Traditional Cache

Joe Hill (Joel Emanuel Hägglund) was born in Gävle, october 7th, 1879 and executed in Salt Lake City, on november 19th, 1915.
To commemorate the memory of his life - dedicated to labour union and solidarity (Industrial Workers of the World, IWW)

Geocache to commemorate 100 years since the execution of Joe Hill.

Just a few meters south from this site is the Gefle-Dala Railroad, that Joes father Olof worked at, as a conductor. (the rail way track that stretches towards west)

Bara några meter söder om denna plats sträcker sig Gefle-Dala Jernveg, där Joes pappa Olof arbetade, som konduktör, till sin död 1902 (järnvägsspåret som går rakt västerut)
