The cache is located on the Lake Tradition plateau and contains trade items chosen with children in mind. It is named for the markings in the bark of a nearby tree that the more imaginative may see as an owl and is located about a mile from the Highpoint Trailhead - Discovery Pass required. A fun route to the cache for children may be to start out on the Swamp Trail with its self-guided adventure of "Zoe and the Swamp Monster". The final steps at the cache are off trail and smaller children may need a hand here.
