Geocache Description:

There are a total of five traditional geocaches we have placed in this general area to make it worth your while to come out to this beautiful area.  The geocaches are "Pure Michigan State", "Like A Rock", "Things Aren't Always What They Seem", "Tiny", and "The Hanger".   Please enjoy the journey to find them all along Carlton Creek.

You should be able to drive the two track right up to the spot of this cache.  It is located right off the two track in a place known to the locals as "The Foundation".  It is a place where many of us use to party as teenagers (ahhhh....the good ole' days!)  There is a marker at this cache that should be self-explanatory.  This is a traditional cache but it is not in a traditional container.  Please bring a pencil.  This is all public land so there are no worries about trespassing on private property.
