A mixture of bridleways, paths across crop fields and some quiet narrow lanes. You can park a couple of cars close by to another of our caches 'Simple as they come!' (N51° 13.986 W000°54.337) and set off either anti-clockwise as we did when setting, or clockwise as you wish.
Terrain generally OK, but at the time of setting from car parking to #1, it was pretty muddy and wet underfoot due to recent heavy rainfall, so fip-flops not advisable! We clocked just over 4 miles whilst setting, but we were dithering up and down some pathways looking for suitable hosts, so should easliy be under 4 miles I would have thought.
