There are a total of five traditional geocaches we have placed in this general area to make it worth your while to come out to this beautiful area. The geocaches are "Pure Michigan State", "Like A Rock", "Things Aren't Always What They Seem", "Tiny", and "The Hanger". Please enjoy the journey to find them all along Carlton Creek.
The final cache in the cluster of them we placed around Carlton Creek is also the most difficult one. The cache gets its name from its size. I believe this container is called a "nano" sized container. It only consists of a log so please bring a pencil to sign the log. To get to this cache you will need to find the correct crossing over the creek. I certainly hope you enjoy the journey getting to this cache. It is a fun two-track ride through the woods followed by a nice hike through a beautiful location. If you do this right you should stay dry!! This is all public land so there is no worry about trespassing on private property.
