If you like to hike into the mountains this trail is maybe what you're looking for. I intended to place a cache at Lägh dal Lunghin as the cache number three of six that you can search & find along this beautiful walk of 20km through three Alpine Passes, pastures, lakes and stunning views. It takes more than seven hours and is definetely worth a shot!
You can make a counterclockwise ring parking your car in Casaccia, taking a bus to Silvaplana, than onother one to Julier La Veduta and start the walk from there (pay attention, there's only one bus ride in the morning from Silvaplana to La Veduta). Of course you can start your trip in another point but the most logical is in Casaccia simply because your walk finish there.

As you reach quite high elevations don't forget to use the proper clothes!
Of course you can just reach the beautiful Lägh dal Lunghin in less than two hours from Maloja and go back. So the difficulty/terrain is evaluated for this option.
As suggested by Edibe if you need to reach the bus from here without completing the hike through Pass Lunghin and Pass da Sett you can go down to Maloja-Capolago bus stop (N 46° 24.473 E 009° 42.084).
