Cambridge has lots of geocachers, but hasn't had a meet (for a long time anyway). Colin, Jules and Steve invite you to put right this oversight and join us in the Railway Vue, Histon on Saturday 26th September, between 1 and 4pm. There is plenty of parking at the pub.
The pub welcomes children and we plan some activities for them. It also has a beer garden, or a conservatory if the weather is poor.
What it doesn't have any more is a view of the railway, but you get to see (or even ride on) the (in)famous Cambridge Guided Bus instead!
The pub serves lunch, but they'd like approximate numbers in advance, so if you're intending to have food, please say so in your WillAttend log, thanks.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 26th. Please bring trackables to swap or show off, and any other items you'd like to use as swaps. We're hoping to run a couple of guided tours of local caches for those who'd like to cache with new friends.
Finally, there's a competition for kids, and one for the rest of us - for the FTF prize! The competition was to guess the number of favourite points awarded in total to the 119 active caches in Cambridge (within the city boundary). Nearest to the correct answer of 930 were The Owen Gang, who, coincidentally, were also first to arrive.

Directions: Come off the A14 at junction 32 and turn north (signposted Histon). Then turn left at the next lights, then right. At the next set of lights you cross the busway: the pub is the first building on the right with the car park entrance behind it.
