Stare Ye Mints! Mystery Cache

A tree hanger waay smaller than a koala.  Please provide own pen or pencil.  Few places in town are totally free of muggles; this one's at least sporty, especially as the GPS kept sending me in circles (view hint below). Assume 35N 12.NNN 111W 39.WWW.

I recently wrestled a toughie entitled "Seeing Spots?" (GC4HP9P) and had such difficulty (BTW, I still can't see the coords), I searched out similar puzzles - e.g., two in France (GC6AH44 and GC4H748) and another in Ohio (GCHGEW). I'll probably never visit those cache sites, but they were easier to crack and practice with, even with wearied eyes.  Anyway, the Mints below are trying to communicate.  If they refuse to enunciate, brew up a cup of Peppermint tea.  I'd try to help more, but my eyes are going fast... BTW, don't forget the base format: 35N 12.NNN 111W 39.WWW!
