Howdy.
This cache was placed in conjunction with the Top of Iowa 2015 event and will be available as a permanent cache for all to find.
This is another little known area located in Osceola County. During certain times of the year you can see an abundance of native prairie grasses and flowers . Take a moment, as they say, and smell the goldenrod (or roses.)
As a side note Mr. Catz was once videotaping a train that was passing nearby. The smoke was really pouring out of it stack as it was struggling with its load. He panned the camera to follow the train and heard a cracking noise. He looked up and saw a wall of fire heading his way. It seems the engine blew a spark out the stack and started this area on fire. Boy it didn't take long for him to pack up and get out. The fun part is he never shut the camera down and captured the escape.
