Sometimes it is best never to say never!
After catching up with another cacher and having a meal and beer at this location we got to talking about an event here and the landlord and landlady couldn't have been more enthusiastic.
Therefore after saying that I wouldn't be hosting an event again as there are lots going on already, I couldn't resist co-hosting this one!
The event is to be held on
I realise that there are a fair few events in our area, but it is very rare to happen upon a great location with pro-geocaching owners, so it would be great if everyone could make a trip to this event.
I believe that if there are enough coming that the pub will put on a barbecue as well as the usual excellent menu.
There will be an area set aside for geocachers, and we are assured of a very friendly welcome.
The excellent Cotgrave Cacheabout multi cache starts from this location, there are other caches in the vicinity, (I believe that there may be a stage for a Spire Lock n Lock puzzle close by too) and I am aiming to get a few new caches out in the local Country Park or Canal area.
Myself and Sixxdog hope to see you, and your families at the event where trackables, geo-stories and general geo natter can be swapped and enjoyed.
Please include whether you are likely to be eating in your will attend logs.
