Geocache Description:

Another letterbox hybrid in the Hundred Acre Wood Series. A bit of bushwhacking was required, but at the time of hiding, I didn't encounter poison plants. Watch your step during the last 30 feet to ground zero. Stamp is self inking, but who knows how long it will last out here, bring your own stamp pad to be safe.

There are three ways of finding this geocache, please share which one you used in your log!
1. Follow your GPSr to the listed coordinates (boo... boring!)
2. Park at the parking coordinates and use this video to guide you to the geocache. CLICK HERE!
3. Follow the letterbox clues below...

You shall start your adventure at the Papillion Parks & Recreation facility at 1100 W Lincoln St in Papillion, just east of 96th St & Lincoln St. There is a gravel parking lot for you to park in. Just west of the parking lot up the bank is the West Papio Trail. Head west on the trail to the corner of 96th & Lincoln.

When you arrive at 96th & Lincoln, turn right (north) and continue to follow the trail. After about 250 feet, you will come to a fork in the trail. It is worth noting that Tigger's Bouncy Place is just another 300-400 feet mostly northish and a bit eastish of here. So if you haven't visited Tigger yet, I'm sure he would be happy to see you.

But I digress, you are searching for Owl's house after all. So take the fork to the right and curve to the south so that you go under Lincoln Street. Continue following the trail and it will curve back to the west and take you under 96th Street. You are getting close now, Owl can probably hear you coming!

As you emerge from under the 96th Street bridge, the Hundred Acre Wood will appear on your left (to the south). As the trail starts to curve back to the north, go off the trail and continue west through the grass until you come to a break in the trees.

You will make your way around the west edge of the tree line and should see a fallen log. Keep looping around the edge of the tree line until you are headed back east. You are within a few feet of Owl's House, enjoy your visit!

PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE CONTAINER FROM ITS HIDING SPOT. If you are familiar with Owl's house, you know it has crashed to the ground before. Please leave it secure in its place, you can still access the contents.

[Owl] Who, who, who is it?

[Piglet] It's me. P-P-Please, may I come in?

[Owl] Well I say now. Someone has pasted Piglet on my window. Well, well, Pooh too! This is a surprise! Do come in and make yourselves... comfortable. Am I correct in assuming it is a rather blustery day outside ?

[Piglet] Yes sir, Owl, it's a very, very blustery day, outside.

[Pooh] Oh yes, that reminds me, happy Windsday Owl!

[Owl] My good fellow, I wouldn't go so far as to call it a Windsday, just a gentle spring zephyr.

[Pooh] Excuse me Owl, is there honey in that pot?

[Owl] Oh yes, yes, of course, help yourself. Now as I was saying this is just a mild spring zephyr compared to the big wind of '67, or was it a... '76? Oh well, no matter. Oh, I remember the big blow well.

[Piglet] I'll remember this one too.

[Owl] It was the year my Aunt Clara went to visit her cousin. Now her cousin was not only gifted on the glockenspiel, but being a screech owl, also sang soprano in the London Opera.

[Pooh] Thank you Piglet.

[Owl] You see her constant practicing so unnerved my aunt that she laid a c-note down by mistake!

(Owl's Tree crashes to the ground).

[Piglet] Oh dear, oh dear, dear!

[Owl] Well I say now, someone has, Pooh, did you do that?

[Pooh] I don't think so.
