My wife late Mickie attended Northampton Presbyterian Church from 1973 until May 1979 when she left to join me at St. Mark's Episcopal. She was active in the choir and played piano and organ for the church and was well remembered to this day by a lady who sang with her. Our son was baptised here. I will always remember the pastor's daughter who was in one of my English classes the first year I taught as she was a perfect example of the "preacher's kid!" This cach placed with the approval of the pastor and elders of the church. BYOP
This is a new location and a new container. Containers have gone from an ammo can to a small micro, larger than a nano, but smaller than a film canister. If you use a vehicle GPSr do not let it take you past the church towards Newport News. Park in the church parking lot. The co-ordinadtes might not be real accurate. Please return the cache EXACTLY as it was found. The actual cache container should NOT be visible. Co-ordinates were determined by two Garmins; a eTrex with multiple readings and a Map64S with an averaged reading. Northing readings ranged from 624 to 626 while the westing varied from 929 to 934. While easy for the experienced cacher, it may give the new cacher some pause.
