The Crusher Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bush Babies: Decided to archive this one as the trail has been closed for some time by the property owner. Went to pick up the cache and someone decided to take it for me. Had a look around the area but it's gone.

Geocache Description:

A reclaimed area near the Sackville River

This area was once the site of a rock crushing operation known as Walker's Pit. Ever since we moved to Lower Sackville in 1986 we have heard the locals call this area  the Crusher. I'm not sure when it ceased operation, but there are still remanants of the equipment there. The Sackville Rivers Association has done a lot of work in cleaning it up and Mother Nature is slowly covering things up.

Follow the road from the old ball field along the river to get close to the cache. Look for a 1 litre screw top container near the ground with the log in a film container inside. Room for some small trade items.
