Congratz to Ragtops for FTF!

special tool needed. Bring pliers to unroll and re roll a copper cache. There is two nails in there for signing but you might want to bring your own.

This is a snorkel or scuba cache in the current on the ruins of an unnamed shipwreck. Any information on this wreck would be greatly appreciated. The Fort Erie Historical Museum currently has no information on this vessel.

This cache may be 30 meters from shore but the first 15 are only knee deep. We recommend starting your swim 40 meters or so upstream so you can see the whole ship or swim it more than once. There is a small jug buoy floating about dead center of the wreck. It is not recommended to do this cache by boat as your anchor will likely never come dislodged.

We'll lay it out like a letterbox for you. Start your swim about 30 meters upstream. Follow the ship down and as it tapers to the end move to the left side (toward the shoreline). You will see a section of this ship that broke off and juts out like a plank. There is a large conduit that runs through the timbers here. It may have been for the anchor chain. On the shoreline side of that conduit you will see a white rope tied to a bolt. The other end of that has the container donated by DFX and T4E.

Undo it from the clip and return to shallower water to sign in about 15 meters away. Please take the time to secure it back on the clip as found and back as far in the hole as possible. BE CAREFUL the zebra muscles are sharp

Teamwork is recommended for the signing of the log,

Note: Every time you reenter the water there will be more fish waiting for you. There are fish right beneath the plank. We highly recommend a waterproof camera on the video setting. :)
