Geocache Description:

The Xmas dinner will cost £13.49 for a three course meal. This includes a £5 non refundable deposit if you're not able to make it. I pay in full to save hassle on the evening and then you settle your own drinks bill as you go along. The event (for those not eating) will be from 8.15 until closing.

This is the Annual SELBAC Christmas Dinner and will be at The Toby Carvery, Eden Park, Beckenham. We shall meet at 6.45 for 7pm to sit down together for our carvery Xmas dinner and then once we've eaten, we have a get together and swap prezzies in the Secret Santa (value £8) and also start off another TB race!
There will be a Xmas Raffle - The raffle, The Secret Santa and the TB race are optional for those wishing to take part.

You need to buy a Xmas themed tb or add something Christmassy to an ordinary tb tag and take a photo to add to the race listing. You have to add your own trackable AND PHOTO..... and remember to bring along with you to the Xmas dinner on the evening! ALL THE TRACKABLES WILL BE HANDED TO ME and I will take them to the London event and randomly hand them out to cachers there. It will be Pot Luck as sometimes there are overseas visitors and sometimes not.....

You will need to use the TB ID from the trackable page and not the actual tracking number when you register your tb. Please add a photo to your tb page and the race website will pick it up from there. Thanks.

The race is alphanumeric - the tb scores a hit on a 36 square grid each time it is dropped into a cache and retrieved by a different cacher (not discovered or visited). The first letter/number of the caching name is what counts..... one of the 26 letters of the alphabet or one of the numbers 0-9. Hence 36 possibilities. You will be given your own copy of the grid in case you wish to tick off the letters/numbers as you go along ....

The nearest train station is Eden Park (directly opposite the pub) which is only 20-25 minutes from London Bridge. There is a large car park to the rear of the pub.

Those who want to sit down together and eat must let me know so the table can be booked. Of course, this is an event and anyone may turn up but we will be seated in the restaurant and tables used by those eating. It will be possible for you to join us after the meal and the event timing has been scheduled to accommodate this. Please indicate in your log if wanting to come along but not be eating. Thanks.
