Rambler's Adventure Trail #16: Combat Zone Traditional Cache

#16 of a series of caches that takes you on Fews Rambler's adventure trail along the hills above Carlingford. This route starts and finishes in the village and combines sections of the Rooskey, Molly, Barnavave & Slieve Foy loops. Total time from start to finish is approximately 3-4 hours.

According to Carlingford Activity Center's own website, this is the largest combat zone in Ireland (as of Sept 2015). This cache is placed safely away from flying missiles (or lazers!) but does require the searcher to use a little initiative. The boundary of the Activity Center's area is marked by a blue rope and warning signs about trespassing are clearly displayed where relevant, so as long as you don't cross the blue rope, you're grand!
