Geocache Description:

I visit Afton often but was sad to see there were no geocaches here.  Once I approached 200 found caches, I decided to remedy that.  Im starting this series with 6 caches with the hope of adding more.  Most of these caches are within walking distance from each other.

Another beautiful old cemetery in Afton.  This cemetery was established in 1806 and is still well maintained.  East Side Cemetery is smaller and less visited then its sister, Glenwood, but still has plenty of charm.

Gates are closed between 6pm and 8am and the cemetery is closed for the season from Dec1 through Apr 1.
