Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates

This puzzle is for all those baseball fanatics out there. I am just fasinated by all the history that has been made in baseball ever since baseball first became a sport. And if you are as big of a baseball fan as I am, then you will absolutely love this series. To get the final coordinates, you must answer the following questions.

N 37° 47.ABC W 121° 52.DEF

A = The last digit in the number of games that the New York Giants won in the regular season.

B = How many teams would have played in the 1904 World Series if the New York Giants aggreed to play againts the Boston Americans?

C = The American League race went down to the wire, and the New York Highlanders temporarily took over first place on October ?, when they defeated the Boston Americans. (+1)

D = The first digit in the number of games that the Boston Americans won in the regular season.

E = As early as July ?, 1904, as reported in Sporting Life, Giants owner John T. Brush had stated publicly, and in contradiction of a preseason agreement for a championship series between the leagues, that his National League club would not play the winner of the American League "if each wins the pennant in its respective league".

F = The first digit of the year in the title of this geocache.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
