This series is designed to be fun and easy for kids.
Nearly all the caches are medium or large with plenty of trades.
Some have waypoints, but these are easy little puzzles for the kids to solve.
In each cache we have placed a 'kids log book' and an adult log book because we think kids should have a log book to sign as well.
Be prepared for activities for the kids to complete at some caches.
Geocaching for kids is about the trades, so please bring LOTS of good trades.
This series takes in a large portion of the Brisbane Ranges. At either end of the series, and in the middle, is a picnic area. Boar Gully Campground near the start of Thompsons Rd in the North. Stoney Creek Picnic Area in the South (just off the Geelong-Ballan Rd). Little River Picnic Area half way along McLeans Hwy in the middle. All three sites have toilets and picnic tables and fireplaces.
Please take care on the tracks in wet weather. And keep an eye out for snakes in summer.
Brisbane Ranges does have areas of Cinnamon Fungus infestation. Please read the following information. Park managers have given approval for this series of caches.
