Number 388 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100' apart and the phone boxes have to be red.
THIS CACHE IS NOT ON OR IN THE PHONE BOX
We've been to Middleton a few times now (still haven't found the cache we come looking for but that's another story!)
I've only recently become aware of the Fine Pair series and they seem to jump out at me now. That's certainly what happened with this one and once I knew it was there, and sat in the centre of a triangle of caches all around 200m away, it just had to have a cache.
While you're here GC37CWY Middleton footpath 1 is worth a look if you're a fan of challenging finds but if you find it don't tell me as I'll just be annoyed that I can't see it!
You'll also find a CM at the church, a gorilla climb, and 2 of the SEBC series all nearby.
