Geocache Description:

The Great-Horned Owl puzzle cache incorporates three (3) separate locations at Hollister Hills SVRA. At the first location you will find an item with new coordinates hidden inside. At the second location you will use the nearby panel to solve a puzzle. It’s important to remember to write down any new coordinates found and NOT TAKE THE PHYSICAL PIECES .The last location will have a container with a logbook and card.

To better assist you with completing this cache I have included the puzzle below so you may print it out and bring it with you to write on.

N 36° N1N2.N3N4N5
W 121° W1.W2

(N1) The number of times hawk/hawks is used on the panel.
(N2) The number of times hunters/hunting/hunt is used on the panel then subtract 1.
(N3) The amount of things the Red-shouldered Hawk will prey on plus the number of times night is used on the panel.
