This is the 4th cache of the NZ native series. we have a lot of amazing native flora and fauna in New Zealand than many people know little about. My 3 mini cache hunters and I thought this would be a good way to educate people.
This cache is hidden near the lovely Karo tree. The Karo tree has thick leaves that are usually 5 to 7 cm long and 2 to 2.5 cm wide, the leaves have a fury white underside. mid spring through summer they grow clusters of dark red flowers. They also grow a seed pod that is very sticky on the inside.
