GeoGuider: Well, I notice that everyone who came that evening has logged their attendance. I'm going to archive this one and make way for the next Meet and Greet. Thanks to everyone who came out. I'm looking forward to the next one as there are ALWAYS more amazing stories. Until next time...

Geocache Description:

Monthly Edmonton Cachers' Meet and Greet

GCR999 our monthly/bi-monthly gathering on Tuesdays at Fargo's has been archived by Geocaching HQ.
We will now be posting a new GC code monthly for this event.

This is the periodic meeting of the Edmonton geocaching community. Everyone is invited: Edmonton cachers, Alberta cachers, and cachers from anywhere on visit to Edmonton. (Yes, even our Calgary friends are welcome!) This is a great opportunity to meet with other cachers to talk about life, the universe and geocaching. You can also meet to exchange travel bugs and geocoins.

Tonight's event will honour VP who has organized the monthly (sometimes bi-monthly) GCR999 event for the Edmonton Area since the first one was published 11/14/2005 and held 12/13/2005 as a Christmas gift exchange. The first time I attended was 05/12/2007; the first event organized by VP after I started caching.  VP also runs GeoCachingEdmonton.com community web site and check out the GCE forums, which are a great source of local, regional and general geocaching information. They're also a great place to just hang out and chat.
