Geocache Description:

Come join your fellow cachers on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 9:30am-5:00pm to help us share with muggles the Geocaching experience!

Chris Ranger has invited us back again to spend a day at the park sharing our hobby with others. Chris ensures us a crowd since it is free day at all state parks.

Here is the Plan!

9:30-10:00 set up tent.

10:00am-5:00pm set up a geotrail and have cachers walk with families explaining our hobby and helping them retrieve 4 characters with TBs attached. Each character will host a stamp and cards will be issued to the family. Once returned to the booth we will award the family's kids or adults with a medallion or toy of some sort.

We will have handouts and a sign up sheet for folks to attend a Geo 101 class.

Your task! Enjoy geocaching and talking to other folks enough to want and share!

So Please sign up for a time period you think you could stay and help, or just come hang out. Some have committed to the day but as you all know company makes it all more fun!

WSGA will provide water for volunteers and food will be available for purchase at the park.

My reviews of the weather on this date show it to be sweater weather!

Your Help Will Make this Event Sucessful!

Then after sharing in the park come to the post event dinner of Hamburgers or Chicken patties, chips and homemade potato salad, which will be open to all who attend this event. It will be at 6 pm in Richland, details will be shared at the event.

This event is sponsored by Washington State Geocaching Association. If you are a geocacher in the state of Washington, please consider joining WSGA. See the WSGA website for details.
