True story: I was out hiking today with HotRod205. He went high on ridge to get a cache he needed and I continued down the trail in hopes of finding an open spot to place one since I knew that one in this area had been archived. When I was good 700 or so feet away from all known caches, I spied a likely spot and climbed the hill. I didn't like that spot and contoured over to another spot. And what to my surprise was a cache! Not just any cache either... one that I had placed at least 16 months ago, if not two years ago. This cache of mine was never listed because the cache that was archived was too darn close and I had not loaded it in my GPS. And simply put, I had completely forgotten that I had placed one here since I had changed GPS units!
