Geocache Description:

This cache is located on Peacock Flats Access Road, a 3.2 mile (each way) paved road that is limited to foot traffic, bikes and some vehicles with special permits.  

The access road gets very hot, some say it is downright brutal; it is best avoided during the mid-day.  The last two miles or so are all uphill so unless you’re looking for a good workout, bikes, skates, razors, skateboards or other such items can make this a much easier. A quick stop along the road to the Peacock Flats campground.
