Geocache Description:

Welcome to our first hide!

This section of the Spirit Trail is beautiful and contains a few bridges of different styles, so if you have time, explore this whole section and its other caches, too.

Neptune Terminals recently installed a new stacker/reclaimer for putting steelmaking coal in stockpiles (stacking) and collecting it back from those stockpiles when required to put into ships (reclaiming). The Spirit Trail section here was built shortly after the equipment was installed and provides a great viewing platform to watch the terminal in action. If the bucket wheel is turning, they are probably reclaiming and loading a ship; if not, but the ground level conveyor is running with a stream of black going into a stockpile, they are stacking (at which time you can also watch trains going slowly through the dumper building at the left (north) end of the stockpiles).

If you're wondering, those huge green buildings contain potash (the two big ones) and phosphate rock (the smallest one), both products which need to stay dry for effective handling.

In the spirit of observing our port in action and it's role in international trade, some foreign coins started in the cache, including a lucky 5 yen Japanese coin (try googling '5 yen coin good luck') and a not-foreign-but-getting-rarer-each-year-now Canadian penny.

FTF Request - As this is our first ever hide, we would really like it to be someone's first ever first-to-find...this is understandably a big ask for this hotbed of FTF seekers, so thanks in advance for your restraint!
