Geocache Description:

An originally pirate-themed cache located on a kid-friendly hiking trail between Old Forge and Inlet, NY.  

After being introduced to geocaching by our son's Cub Scout pack (156 in Jamesville, NY), our family wanted to place a cache in our favorite place to vacation - the beautiful Adirondacks.  Located on the Third Lake Creek Trail, this is a wide, flat, leisurely trail that is a very kid-friendly hike.  Park at the Third Lake Creek Trailhead on South Shore Road between Old Forge and Inlet.
