We just had to bring you here to see this stunning view, all the way to the Humber and beyond.
The houses at the bottom of the Valley put the distance into perspective.
There is already a cache further along the path, at the top of the hill (where there is also an opportunity to sit and take in the view) and we couldn't waste the opportunity of placing another cache along the way.
At this stage of the ascent to the top of the hill there is the beginning of a magnificent view Southwards across the River Humber towards Winteringham and beyond. Westwards, on a clear day, you can see the turbines of the Rusholme Grange Windfarm and the Cooling Towers of Drax Power Station some 15 miles away.
This foot path connects to the High Hunsley Circuit, which is a walk of just over 25 miles, taking in the villages of Walkington, Skidby, Brantingham, South Cave and Bishop Burton.
