There are 5 disused RAF aerodromes in Pembrokeshire, 4 of which have public access. Templeton Aerodrome was used, during the war, for a series of operational activities, which are well summarised on sign boards at the two main access points. From the parking area, it is a pleasant and flat walk (as befits an airfield) to the cache. You can either turn right, for the longer walk, and follow the perimeter taxiway, or turn left and go straight up the runway. Dog walkers, please be aware that there are always sheep on this site.
