Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a geoart series in the Freetown-Fall River State Forest. The cache is not at the listed coordinates. You must answer the question to find the actual location.

The Arrowhead is a 30 cache series comprised of two loop trails, North and South. The caches are hidden in MA Star fashion. The terrain is slightly more difficult and than that of the Star. Both loops are mountain bike friendly.

Hunting is allowed in season. There is no hunting allowed on Sundays year round. Watch out for dirt bikes and ATVs, if you hear one approaching step to the side of the trail so they can pass.

It is recommended that you find the caches in numerical order.

Be sure to take in "The Ledge". From below between cache numbers 21 and 22. From above between cache numbers 24 and 25. Please hold the hand of your little ones and leash your dogs when atop the ledge.

This area of the Freetown-Fall River Forest has been at the center of legendary tales dating back before the first English settlers arrived in the new world. Everything from the supernatural to UFOs to the cryptozoological. There are still several reports of unusual activity every year. This forest is ranked among the top 7 most haunted forests in the world at #4.

It is generally believed that humans migrated to America from Eurasia over 12,000 years ago.
