PG Muni Golf Course is also known in golfing circles as "Poor Man's Pebble Beach". It deserves the name because it is very affordable and nearly as beautiful as it's famed namesake cousin (at least along the back 9). Our beloved golf course is also listed in the book "The 50 Golf Courses You Must Play Before You Die". Early morning on the back 9 (formerly the front 9) is an amazing golfing experience with views of the Pacific Ocean, Monterey Bay, Point Pinos, and the Lighthouse at every turn. If you haven't yet, you really must play (or at least walk) the course some time soon! If you don't play then at least plan a visit to the putting green (near this cache).
