FSC-2015 Catman's Cemetery

Cache Details:
Available dawn to dusk.

Can you find where Catman is laid to rest?

Are you brave enough to knock 3 times on the brick wall behind the cemetery?

Watch out for the Catman!!!!

Description:
Historically known as Colonel Armwell Long Cemetery as he donated the land for the cemetery but locally called Catman's Graveyard. Most of the graves are from the 1800s, but some are from 1918. For whatever reason, two graves in the back face a different direction than all of the other graves

A former graveyard caretaker, who had cat-like features, still watches over the cemetery. Whenever teenagers came to party in the cemetery, Catman would scare them off. After he died, he was put in an above-ground casket located in the middle of the graveyard.

Local legend says if you knock 3 times on the brick wall behind the cemetery, the Catman will tinker with your car so that it won’t start when you try to leave and you will spot Catman walking around the cemetery looking for you!

Take some time to enjoy this cemetery. There are headstones:
- for men who fought in the War of 1812
- for men who fought in WWI
- of a University of Delaware Director
- for a person that was "DEAF AND DUMB"
