There are two ways to reach the cache, one is using a sea kayak and the other is via a path from the road to the site. Both involve an element of danger so please read the instructions carefully.
If you chose to use a kayak, please ensure you are equipped with some experience, the correct flotation aids, helmet and necessary safety equipment. Check the sea and weather conditions before setting off. DO NOT ATTEMPT DURING ROUGH SEA CONDITIONS.
If you chose to approach the cache from land, please do NOT ATTEMPT ON STORMY DAYS. Park the car at the coordinates outlined. Follow the path between the two caravan parks to the waypoints at the stile. There is no parking in the caravan park except for residences as indicated by the sign. At the stile, take the path to the right. Close to the cache site there are a series of small steps that lead down to a concrete bridge giving access to the island where the lighthouse stands. ONLY ATTEMPT TO ACCESS THE ISLAND AT LOWER TIDE AS THE BRIDGE WILL QUICKLY BE UNDER WATER AS THE TIDE RISES. Take care not to wait too long on the island. If the tide comes in while you are there you will GET STRANDED UNTIL THE NEXT LOW TIDE.
It is not necessary to climb the ladder at the lighthouse. There is no hint reflecting the difficulty level for this cache.
