We've been in Singapore for one wonderful year, and during that time we have been sure to spread the word of Geocaching to anyone who has shown even the faintest of interest. Conversations about the joy of the cache tend to inevitably be with fellow parents or fellow teachers at our school, and so it seems right to place a cache nearby to help whet their potential appetites. Our school is also somewhere that we are all proud to be associated with - another good reason for us to place a cache right here.
The cache is hidden in a logical place near the front of the school. Access is easy, the 191 bus drops off a few metres away and the Green Corridor is nearby. If you do choose to drive a car to this cache, please be careful where you choose to park it. I strongly discourage you from driving anywhere near here between 07:30 and 17:00 in the week! You may prefer to park in the Commonwealth Drive area and walk through, across the Green Corridor.
If you are new to caching, do exercise common sense. You may get stung, cut or bitten if you or your child sticks their hand in this hiding place without reasonable precaution. Geocaching is one of those pastimes that does involve managing your own risks - not something that everyone seems willing or capable of these days! I've hidden it - you decide if you want to try and find it!
As for our school, please have a look at www.tts.edu.sg to find out more about its fascinating 90 year history and the interesting things that nearly 3000 children get up to.
