Turska gora Traditional Geocache

Turska gora se nahaja na vzhodnem robu Malih Podov  med Logarsko dolino in dolino Kamniške Bistrice. Z zahodne strani je gora videti dokaj pohlevna, na vse ostale strani pa so pobočja zelo strma.

Turska gora is located at the eastern edge of Mali Podi between the Logar Valley and the Kamniška Bistrica Valley.  From the west the mountain looks quite humble; the other slope sides, however, are very steep.

Na goro vodita dve označeni planinski poti. Po zahodnem grebenu se lahko nanjo povzpnemo iz smeri Malih Podov, po vzhodnem pa iz smeri Brane preko Kotličev in skozi naravno znamenitost Sod brez dna. Vse poti na Tursko goro so zahtevne in varovane s klini in jeklenicami. Na vrhu ni veliko prostora, je pa iz njega lep razgled na sosednje vrhove (Brana, Rinke, Skuta, Mrzla gora) in na Logarsko dolino

Vrh / Summit

There are two marked hiking trails leading up to the mountain. It can be ascended via western ridge from the direction Mali Podi and via eastern ridge from Brana over Kotliči directly through the natural attraction named Sod brez dna – Bottomless pit. All the trails to Turska gora are demanding and protected with wedges and wire ropes. There is not much space on top, but it gives a lovely view of the surrounding peaks (brana, Rinke, Skuta, Mrzla gora) and the Logar Valley.
